In the car and on Apple Watch
Keep playing automatically when the car connects, and music and episodes on your watch.
In the car
With Play automatically in the car turned on (Settings › Playback), Sonivora keeps playing as soon as your iPhone connects to the car. CarPlay and hands-free systems that report a car brand or call themselves a car are recognised; iOS doesn’t share the device type from the Bluetooth settings with apps. If the detection is wrong, correct it under Settings › Playback › In the car while the device is connected; Your cars lists them.
Under Play in the car you choose what starts if nothing was playing just before: What played last or a playlist that starts shuffled. Passengers play music from their own iPhone through Listen together.
This works as long as Sonivora is still open in the background; iOS does not wake an app that has been closed. A CarPlay interface of its own is coming soon.
On Apple Watch
On an album, a playlist or a podcast episode, choose Load to Apple Watch. The iPhone downloads the tracks and sends them to the watch in the background; it is fastest when the watch is nearby and Sonivora is open on it. Afterwards you listen on the watch, even without your iPhone nearby, with Bluetooth headphones.
Under Settings › Apple Watch you see what is On the watch, choose the quality and free up space with Remove everything from Apple Watch. If the app is not on your watch yet, install it in the Watch app on your iPhone under “Available Apps”.
