Connecting the AI

Two ways

Sonivora’s AI features need a connected AI. If you tap an AI feature without one, Sonivora shows the Sonivora AI offer:

• Sonivora AI costs CHF 3 a month or CHF 30 a year. All AI features then run through Sonivora, with the latest models from Anthropic, without a key of your own.
• Your own key from Anthropic or OpenAI: below the offer is Connect your own API key. You then pay the provider directly for what you use.

If you have added your own key, it takes priority over the subscription. Without AI, everything else works as usual.

Sonivora AI

You buy the subscription through the App Store. Under Settings › AI access › Sonivora AI you see your subscription and when your monthly allowance is full again. There you find Manage subscription and Restore purchases, for example on a new iPhone.

A subscription covers normal listening well; with a very large number of requests, the AI pauses until next month. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings, at the latest 24 hours before it renews.

Your own key

1. Create a key in your Anthropic or OpenAI account. 2. Open Settings › AI access › Your own key, choose the Provider and paste the API key. 3. Tap Test connection.

Under Model you choose the model class; with Automatic (newest), Sonivora always takes its latest version. Your usage this month shows what you have used and estimates what a mix and an AI Shuffle cost. Remove key disconnects the AI again.

What the AI learns

Depending on the feature, the AI receives your request to the DJ and information from your library and about your listening. Your Plex or Jellyfin access never goes to the AI. With Use listening history under Settings › AI access › Your own key you decide whether recently played and skipped tracks go along. More in the privacy policy.
