Memory and learning
What the AI knows about your taste, how it learns, and how to delete everything.
The taste profile
Under Settings › Memory & learning is the Taste profile that Sonivora builds from your listening. It tells apart your long-term taste, your current focus of the last days and weeks, the season, audiobooks and podcasts. It refreshes itself as soon as you have listened to something new, rated something or talked to the DJ.
Listening signals
With Learn from skips, skipping in the first seconds or stopping halfway counts against a track, and listening to the end counts for it. Listening signals shows how many signals there are; the AI leaves tracks with many negative signals out of mixes.
The AI also remembers what you listen to where: in the car, with headphones, on a speaker or in a Sonos room, including the volume. It does not learn personal device names.
Remembered preferences
What you tell the AI DJ about your taste is under Remembered preferences. Under Chats with the DJ you find the saved chats.
What the AI researched once
Book summaries, author portraits and previews on the wish list are researched by the AI only once and then stored. That way no new request is needed, and they are available offline too. Under Saved you see the entries by area.
Sync and delete
With Sync with iCloud, the memory lives in your private iCloud and is available on all your devices. Reset memory deletes the profile, assessments, listening signals, preferences and suggestions, in iCloud as well; the AI then learns from scratch.
